FY 19 Body-Worn Camera Program

The primary goal of the BWC Policy and Implementation Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Provider is to develop and deliver a comprehensive array of TTA to assist grantees and other key stakeholders in BWC PIP implementation. The TTA provider will direct TTA services to include management and maintenance of BJA’s BWC website (www.bja.gov/bwc); assist agencies in the development of sound and comprehensive BWC polices; and identification and advancement of promising practices and assessments of grant-funded programs.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Body­Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program (BWC PIP) provides Department of Justice (DOJ) resources and support to communities seeking to implement and/or enhance body-worn camera programs. Since the inception of BWC PIP, CNA and its partners, Arizona State University (ASU) and Justice & Security Strategies, Inc. (JSS), have provided training and technical assistance (TTA) to help DOJ and local communities successfully plan, implement, and expand their BWC initiatives with a holistic and systemic approach. CNA proposes to continue delivering, and to expand, its provision of high-quality TTA. CA/NCF
