Biometric Data Technology and Citizen Safety Enhancement

The project focuses on technology improvements as well as law enforcement safety enhancement. The biometric capture system (LiveScan) remains the main focus of the program. The addition is for police officer and citizen safety. Using less-than-lethal technology to reduce the chance of injuries during a police response to resistance event is essential. The Axon Internaional Taser has been proven to safely, effectively, and efficiently end resistance. This increases safety for officers and citizens alike without the long lasting effects of higher levels of response.
