The Emergency Federal Law Enforcement Assistance (EFLEA) Grant Program is by invitation only and provided to mitigate the effects of emergency situations in the affected state and/or local jurisdictions. The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) invited the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency to submit an application for funding under the BJA’s FY20 EFLEA Grant Program to cover emergency costs incurred by the law enforcement in response to an increase in criminal and gang activity. The purpose of these funds is to assist with offsetting those costs related to the criminal activity experienced by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania during federal fiscal year 2020. Allowable costs are limited to overtime and regular salary costs incurred by the law enforcement response; no administrative costs are allowed. NCA/NCF
