Abstract

This solicitation overview provides grant information and resources for entities that may be interested in funding assistance from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) to support organizations’ investment in current and future leaders in the criminal justice field and to bring talent and expertise from the field into a policymaking position through the Visiting Fellows Program. The overview notes eligible applicants as being: city, township, county, state, or tribal governments; Native American tribal organizations, other than federally recognized tribal governments; nonprofit organizations, regardless of 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; for profit organizations other than small businesses; public, private, and state-controlled institutions of higher education; and public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities.
