This presentation is designed to promote officer health and wellness by bringing awareness to the benefits of yoga for law enforcement.
Research has shown that mindfulness training, specifically yoga, is an effective method for managing and mitigating the effects of stress. Yoga has been shown to increase resilience, compassion, focus, objectivity, flexibility, and strength. In addition, mindfulness promotes better decision making and improves performance at work and at home.
