This project proposes to use grant funds to hire a full-time PREA Manager, part-time additional PREA Manager and PREA investigator, additional PREA curriculum focusing on LGTBQI populations, and enhanced privacy aids for incarcerated persons. Recent changes in staffing due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic have seen the loss of dedicated PREA personnel and highlighted the need for additional LGTBQI sureties and training. This project will help fulfill this need.
