The Chippewa Cree Tribe is a federally recognized tribe located in Hill County, Montana. With this funding, the Chippewa Cree Tribe will achieve goals set forth under Purpose Area 1, Purpose Area 3, and Purpose Area 9 as follows:

Project Purpose
The goal of the CCT Tribal Reentry Program is to develop and implement a comprehensive and collaborative Tribal Reentry Program that will successfully reintegrate incarcerated individuals into the community and reduce recidivism.
Objective 1: During the project period of October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022 the CCT will develop at least four (4) formal, collaborative partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies to increase the capacity of the Tribe to develop and implement the CCT Tribal Reentry Program as measured by signed partnership agreements and project records.
Objective 2: During the project period of October 1, 2021 through September 20, 2026 the CCT Tribal Reentry Program will provide a network of reentry services (mentoring, behavioral health, housing, educational, substance abuse treatment and recovery support) to at least 15 individuals annually who are incarcerated or reentering the Rocky Boy community as measured by participant case records and project records.
Objective 3: During the same project period, at least 80% of individuals who participate in the CCT Tribal Reentry Program will achieve a positive reentry outcome as measured by individualized case management plans and project records.
Population to be Served This project will provide services for incarcerated individuals reentering the tribal community (Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation).
