Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2021, $906,452)

The Tulare County Office Of Education's STOP Proposal targets Tulare County Schools with the focus on increased school safety through threat assessment traning, response training, and innovative safety technology. The Project addresses 3 specific needs in Tulare County: 
 1) Qualified staff dedicated to instructing law enforcement officers within the County and School Resource Officers, First Response Dispatchers, and other First Responders on how to utilize ActVnet on each campus;

2) Qualified staff to facilitate Training of Mental Health service staff on ActVnet in order to integrate them into multidisciplinary intervention and school threat assessment teams

3) Funding for schools in order to increase the number of campuses that have ActVnet in operation – funds would enable programming, drone mapping, and custom modification of ActVnet to each site.
