BSU and EDT Systems Cold Case 360 Degree Assistance Project

 

 BJA FY 21 Emmett Till Cold Case Investigations and Training and Technical Assistance Program, The ALN#16.031, GON# 0-BJA-2021-45002, CBJA-2021-00 025 PROD, Category 2 effort called BSU, LLC and EDT Systems Cold Case 360 Degree Assistance Project will address several critical areas in the efforts by Grantee’s to assess their cold case reduction efforts and help these organizations create an effective plan with using their personnel but BSU, LLC’s extensive list of subject matter experts in all areas of investigation and even interview processes. This planning effort goes along with assessing the exact areas of concern or trends in not only how the Cold Case faulters from an active level to possible system of systems analysis on how to correct collaboration and communication processes in their efforts along. The next priority tasking is assisting these grantees through constant collaboration and communication from meetings, analysis, to sharing best practices in a sustainable and clear approach to both a deep level of assistance but an informed applied approach in having impact on their programs.

 

With these three primary goals in analysis, process development and planning along with sustaining effective constant collaboration and communication with these organizations comes with a focused TTA effort through experienced personnel in the FBI, DHS, Police Departments, Interview and case analysis and Cold Case investigation methods in a large range of types of cases from violations of civil rights laws to possible hate crimes to homicide and all those actives in between to solve situational concerns.

 

These two strengths in analysis and experience added to the team’s ability to look at both tactical and strategic policies of any Grantee law enforcement effort, again, through senior level and even academic conceptional and applied experience which are vital. These areas range from policy to individual behaviors ensures the team’s clear analysis of an organization’s issues. Giving them a path for success and elimination of more and more cold cases in the future.

 

While this program certainly involves fundamental process and sustainable communication effort the historical aspect of these cases cannot be lost in the analysis and resolution of solutions. This means a development of a clear impactful and unbiased look at all aspects to drive a fundamental change in these areas.
