Police Officers Body-Worn Cameras for Largo Police Department

The Largo Police Department proposes to implement a Body-Worn Camera program in order to increase community trust in policing, protect officers, assist with evidence collection, increase citizen civility when interacting with officers, and speed adjuication of cases. 

This project includes purchasing body-worn cameras for each of the 157 sworn officers, software and data support for five (5) years, and the addition of a Body-Worn Camera Records Technician who will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and analyzing data from body-worn cameras.
