FY 2022 Indiana Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) Application Project Abstract

The goals for the FY 2022 RSAT funds are to continue enhancing the capability of the State of Indiana and its local jurisdictions to provide residential substance abuse treatment for incarcerated offenders, prepare offenders for reintegration into their communities.  The State of Indiana will achieve these goals by allocating funds to the communities with the highest need and greatest capacity for successful and sustainable service delivery.

ICJI will ensure there is a commitment from grant programs to follow treatment program goals, provide funding to programs that develop evidence based RSAT treatment models, and direct funding to programs that focus on providing coordinated services for offender aftercare treatment and reentry into the community.  ICJI encourages its programs to seek supplemental funding and build collaboration and stability for the programs within their respective communities.  The ICJI has worked in conjunction with state-funded initiatives to best determine the programs in most need for supplemental and initial funding.
