The Northern District of Texas Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) focuses on gun, gangs, and violent crime as they relate to the safety and welfare of the community. The overall PSN Strategy is to implement a four-prong approach to combat gun, gang, and violent crimes, which includes law enforcement, schools, and community organizations. The Northern District of Texas takes a comprehensive approach by coordinating partnerships with various federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and prosecutors along with various crime prevention groups, faith-based organizations, and school districts in an effort to target gang and violent crimes in high-crime target areas successfully.
