Iowa 2022 Project Safe Neighborhoods - Southern District

Project Safe Neighborhoods funding will assist the U.S. Attorney in partnership with state and local stakeholders to identify specific violence hotspots and offenders who are contributing to violence in the district. Through a competitive application process, the District will identify prevention, enforcement, and prosecution strategies to reduce violence in those communities. The fiscal agent will communicate the subrecipient activity/spending plan with the U.S. Attorney’s Office/PSN Task Force to ensure consistency with the District’s PSN strategy and then submit it to the Bureau of Justice Assistance for final approval.
