Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2022, $35,152)

The Norristown Police Department (NPD) will utilize 2022 JAG funds for License Plate Reader technology. License Plate Readers, or LPRs, is the next key component to NPD leading crime strategy approach. This solution will provide advance capabilities to NPD that will both aid in solving crimes and increase the level and degree of traffic enforcement and compliance in the borough.
