North Las Vegas Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program

The city of North Las Vegas is applying for funding in the amount of $1,295,110. This project serves the city of North Las Vegas with a population of approximately 216,961 and is submitted under Subcategory 1b. The purpose of the project is to expand recovery support services and discharge planning for individuals leaving a correctional setting and returning to the community. The project addresses the allowable use of providing evidence-based recovery support services (80% of the budget) and transitional or recovery housing (10% of the budget). The project includes partnerships with Elevation Health Services. Priority considerations addressed in this application include 1(A). Pages 11-12 provides documentation of the applicant's plan to respond to the priority consideration. This application also includes program evaluation which is identified as a priority consideration (10% of the budget).
