Through the addition of a second Communities in Schools coordinator and the hiring of three School Culture Assistants, who will take on dedicated duties of hall monitoring, intervention, mediation, escorting, and trust-building with students, and with the help of trainings on restorative community-building, de-escalation, and violence prevention, this project will improve school climate at Crossroads Preparatory Academy and help decrease and prevent school violence.
