Informed, guided and approved by the MN Byrne SCIP Crisis Intervention Advisory Board, the MN FY 2022-2023 SCIP Program Priorities are

Statewide ERPO Implementation Coordination and Support: The Advisory Board identified effective coordination of and support for the implementation of Minnesota’s Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) law (Minnesota Statutes §§624.7171 – 624.7178) that took effect January 1,2024 as a top priority for the 2022-2023 Byrne SCIP funds.
Crisis Intervention/Behavioral Health: The Advisory Board identified a second priority of improving crisis intervention responses, services, and supports across behavioral health, civil legal, and other settings.
