The Town of Fuquay-Varina Police Department, North Carolina was a leader in North Carolina and Wake County adopting body-cameras for all patrol officers more than five years ago. Unfortunately, the first generation of body-worn cameras have reached the end of useful life and are no longer supported by the manufacturer. Additionally, the newest generation of body cameras provide benefits that were not available in the first generation.
