The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to protecting police officers with high-quality body armor. The Foundation proposes to implement the Get Behind the Vest initiative in Chicago, Illinois. The purpose of Get Behind the Vest is to provide 1,000 bulletproof vests and vest covers to Chicago Police Officers in need of new body armor. The expected outcome is that 1,000 new bulletproof vests and vest covers will be distributed within one year.
