Yavapai County Sheriff's Office Aerial Platform for Sedona & Prescott Communities

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office proposes to implement the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Aerial Platform. The purpose is to purchase a Bell 407 or equivalent helicopter for use in law enforcement related activities within the Yavapai County. Project activities include the procurement of a Bell 407 or equivalent helicopter; perform repairs, maintenance and/or upgrades required to ensure an airworthy platform ready for use in activities such as: search and rescue missions; Off Highway Vehicle Enforcement and community patrol operations across public lands; and aerial support during critical incident operations. Expected outcomes include a fully operational helicopter. Residents of and visitors to Yavapai County are the intended beneficiaries of the project.
