2023 Oregon Edward Byrne Memorial Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Grant

The reallocation funds will be used to support compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) for fiscal year 2023. The eligible entities are state administering agencies under the governor’s executive control, the Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC) and the Oregon Youth Authority (OYA). The grant will be issued to, and managed by, Oregon’s designated State Administering Agency (SAA), the Criminal Justice Commission (CJC), to serve as a pass-through agency for this grant.
