FY23 Edward Byrne JAG - North Dakota

The North Dakota Office of Attorney General is submitting this application for federal funding to assist state, local and private agencies in their efforts to combat drugs, violent crime, domestic violence, and crime prevention. The overarching vision of the North Dakota Statewide Strategic Plan is to create a comprehensive, systematic approach to eradicating drug abuse and trafficking, and significantly decrease violent crime in the state. The ND OAG conducts an annual competitive award process to subaward funds to political subdivisions partnering with implementing agencies able to carry out projects in support of the JAG program. A majority of the funds are subawarded to state and local agencies.
