Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $12,623)

The City of Opelika Police Department proposes to use the 2023 Byrne Grant Federal Funding to purchase one FARO Freestyle 2.5 photography and measuring device.  Our Agency will use this instrument to capture accurate images and measurements of crime scenes.  The evidence obtained by these images will be used to document and prosecute crimes in our jurisdiction.
