City of Tuscaloosa FY23 - Equipment Request for Crime Prevention and Violence Reduction

The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Tuscaloosa County, Alabama will use JAG funds for equipment that will support each unit of government in reducing violence and preventing crime. Specifically, the City of Tuscaloosa will use JAG funds to procure a new patrol vehicle for policing purposes, while the Tuscaloosa County Commission will use JAG funds to purchase mobile data units (MDUs) in support of increased officer safety and efficiency.
