Police Motors Upgrade Program

The Montgomery Police Department is requesting JAG funding in order to facilitate the purchase of two vehicles for law enforcement use. JAG funding will allow for the purchase of two police motorcycles. Additional costs for maintaining the vehicles as needed will be covered under the departmental budget. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) will use their portion of the award towards the purchase of 60 ballistic vest plate carriers for law enforcement use. Funds needed for the 60 carriers over the award amount will be covered from the MCSO budget.
