Public Safety Stop Bumpers, Additional Bike Patrol and CID Media Computer

The Jacksonville Police Department intends to use the awarded JAG Grants funds to assist in Crime Prevention, Public Safety and Community Policing through the purchase of; two electric assist Recon Power Bikes, five Westin Stop/Push Bumpers, one Multi-Media Computer, and 64 Body Worn Camera Molle Mounts.

These items were selected for better community interaction, the ability to respond efficiently to a variety of Calls-for-Service, the prevention of escape of persons believed to be an imminent threat to the public, aid in the collection of evidence and prosecution of Cyber Crimes, and securing Body Worn Cameras.
