The City of Pine Bluff Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff Department crime and violence strategies Initiative

The City of Pine Bluff will use the funds from the 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant to further enhance its crime and violence reduction strategies.  The equipment to be purchased will include new recording system for the Detectives interview room, Bikes to reestablish the Bike Patrol unit and FLOCK cameras for surveillance of areas of crime within the City.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office plans to use the 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant to further enhance its ongoing law enforcement mission.  Equipment to be purchased will be Ammunition, Traffic Spike System and Intoximeters for testing for impaired driving.
