City of Montebello Police Department 2023 JAG Project

The Montebello Police Department will use JAG funds to enhance our commitment of increasing community policing efforts, participation from citizens, while attracting and retaining peace officers.

Our proposal will demonstrate how we will develop and expand community engagement initiatives. In collaboration with local partners and diversifying funding, the department will focus on programs that are educational and sustainable.

Increasing active participation from the community will allow us to share the roles and challenges faced by law enforcement. Our program aims to create an engaged and informed community that will be supportive of our efforts to increasing safety in this community.
