The goal of the subject grant application is to utilize the allocation of JAG funds to purchase Motorola mobile radios to enhance communication between police department staff.

The goal of the subject grant application is to utilize the City's allocation of JAG funds to purchase Motorola radios to enhance communication betweent the Police Department and the City's dispatch system. The radios will provide auxiliary members of the Police Department with a reliable means to communicate with dispatch staff, increasing safety and community confidence. The services provided by the auxiliary members support JAG Areas of Emphasis including support to crime prevention and education programs and crisis intervention.
