HUNTINGTON PARK PD 2023 JAG APPLICATION

Title of Project:

This Application requests funds to purchase equipment for use by members of the City of Huntington Park Police Department.  The equipment purchased includes 60 helmets and face shields and seven (7) 40mm launchers.  The helmets and 40mm launchers will serve as replacement devices for helmets that are expried and launchers that are beyond their noraml service life.  Taken all together, the Federal Funding will assist the City of Huntington Park in the effort to reduce and or prevent serious injury or death with the helemts and 40mm luanchers selected.  The equipment options selected increase the efficiency in the use of law enforcement personnel through reliable and modern equipment.  As a whole these items bring additional benefit to the residents in the City of Huntington Park.
