FY23 Local JAG Project

The disparate jurisdictions of Solano County and the cities of Fairfield, Vacaville, and Vallejo will use JAG funds for software, training, and equipment.  Specifically, Solano County will use funds to enhance current systems and capabilities to increase efficiency in recruitment and hiring through interview software. Fairfield will use JAG funds for Active Shooter Plates to promote public safety and address the nation-wide increase in mass shootings. Vacaville will use funds to purchase a police K-9, training and supplies. Vallejo will use funding for Police Training Simulator services to prepare officers for real-life incidents, promote public trust, and accountability.
