FY23 JAG Project

The disparate jurisdictions of Stanislaus County and the City of Modesto will utilize the FY 23 local JAG funds for equipment, a wellness program for mental and physical health, and personnel costs. Specifically, the city of Modesto Police Department will use its allocated funds to purchase cardiac screening evaluations and ballistic shields for officer safety and wellness. The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office will disburse its allocated funding between the Probation Department and the Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office will fund a mental health and wellness program. The Probation Department will fund a portion of a deputy probation officer for the Domestic Violence Program.
