City of Waterbury has witnessed a rise in violent crime to include gun related crimes over the last
several years. This funding will be used to for overtime for our Patrol Division, Criminal
Investigations Bureau, and for program equipment needs at PAL in an attempt to reduce violent crime,
engage our youth in positive activities, and overall keep Waterbury a safer place for those who live, work and play in the City of Waterbury.
