Flagler County Sheriff's Office Ballistic Shield Program Initiative

Flagler County will use JAG funds to invest in its law enforcement program by supporting the purchase of ballistic and tactical shields by its Sheriff’s Office for distribution and implementation within the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) and Community Policing Division to aid in enhancement of community policing and crime prevention and to support agency strategies to reduce violent crime by enhancing its capacity to better respond to and address crime.
