Kissimmee Police Officer Funding Project

The City of Kissimmee will use JAG funds for Patrol related functions to include; community contacts, business contacts, citizen engagement, education and training with regards to crime prevention and building trust through transparency. The sergeant and officers who are funded by the JAG funds are also trained to engage local youth through positive interaction and mentorship. The officers utilize our local Boys & Girls Club as a hub for interaction with local youth. Interaction with students at our local elementary, middle and high schools is also performed. The officers will perform enforcement of state laws and local ordinances while using good judgement and discretion.
