Law Enforcement Technology Grant

Funds will be used to support the Clay Community Connect Program and expand the operations of the Real Time Crime Center. This will be accomplished by acquiring 14 additional PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras. The deployment of additional cameras will help reduce crime and become a force multiplier in fighting crime. The goal is the reduction of crime and to capture real time intelligence for all facets of the agency. Clay Community Connect will continue to interface with communications, operations, intelligence, special operations and community affairs who will utilize the data captured for strategic operations.
