City of Miami Gardens Focus on Public Safety Project

The City of Miami Gardens will utilize the awarded funds to purchase five (5) Mobile License Plate Recognition (LPR) systems, also known as Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) systems are technologies used by law enforcement agencies to automatically capture and process license plate information from  police vehicles. This technology equipment will enhance the City of Miami Gardens ability to monitor and mange traffic and public safety.
