2023 Forsyth County Sheriff's Law Enforcement Enhancement Project

The FY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant will allow the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office to focus additional efforts in protecting our officers in uncooperative situations. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office has taken steps to improve the security of all of our citizens who live, work, and visit. The equipment selected (BolaWrap) will specifically enhance officer capability to provide a safer experience during calls of service to both the officer and citizens involved. This equipment will provide a foundation for deputies so that they can carry out and perform their duties as depended on by the citizens of Forsyth County.
