Maui County Department of the Prosecuting Attorney's FY23 Byrne Grant Project

The County of Maui Department of the Prosecuting Attorney ("the department") will use JAG funds to design and implement a comprehensive and intensive trial advocacy training for deputies of all skill levels.  This will include training in general trial advocacy, as well as for specialty prosecutions in the areas of DUI, sexual assault, domestic violence, and homicides.  The department will also use funds to provide for technilogical modernizations for the Investigative Services Division that will imrpove efficiencies and enhance communication capabilities during critical events.
