Support law enforcement programs through improvement of technology and equipment.

The Cities of Lenexa, Olathe, Overland Park, and Shawnee, Kansas will utilize the JAG funds for license plate reader systems, live scan fingerprint machine, traffic sign boards, wireless microphones, and electric bicycles.  These purchases will support law enforcement programs through the enhancement of community policing and crime prevention programs and the purchase of technology and equipment that supports the agencies strategies to reduce violent crime and enhance their capability to better address crime.
