Bossier City - Bossier Parish FY 23 JAG Program

The disparate jurisdictions of Bossier City, LA and Bossier Parish, LA will use JAG funds for increased Directed Criminal Patrols, essential law enforcement training, and the purchase of equipment. Specifically, the City of Bossier City will use their portion of the JAG award primarily to fund BCPD's annual Armed Robbery Task Force (ARTF), which allocates additional officers to patrol more susceptible businesses during the hours that armed robberies are likely to occur. Left over award funds may be used to help cover the cost of BCPD's yearly law review. The parish of Bossier will use their portion of the award to purchase equipment.
