City of Cambridge FFY23 JAG Project

The Cambridge Police Department seeks to utilize FY 2023 JAG funding to continue to expand and enhance its mobile computing capabilities.  Currently the Department has laptops in all marked police vehicles with wireless connectivity to the state Criminal Justice Information System.  This functionality is being expanded to include access to the Department’s “Mobile Office” program, which is detailed in the Program Narrative. The overarching goal of this initiative is to apply information technology to community policing.
