The Cecil County Sheriff's Office and Elkton Police Department Investigations Equipment

Cecil County will use JAG funds to purchase preliminary breath tests to conduct standardized field sobriety testing on potential DUI traffic stops. It helps to determine if there is sufficient evidence for a DUI charge and quantify the results of the standardized field sobriety testing that a law enforcement officer conducted on the driver. The Elkton Police Department will purchase a drying vent to process blood soiled items from crime scenes and shelving to store evidence.
