Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $21,771)

Penobscot County will administer the 2023 Byrne Justice Assistance grant for the City of Bangor and Penobscot County. The goals of this project are to utilize JAG funding to focus on the areas of emphasis identified by BJA.  Bangor Police Department will purchase 12 Universal Gun Mounts. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office will purchase 12 Portable Radio Kits
