Patrol effectiveness and enhancement through updated equipment.

The Cities of Biloxi, Gulfport and Harrison County Mississippi are certified as disparate agencies by the BJA Director, based in part on input from the state's Attorney General. Therefore, this is a joint application and the program narrative will address problems from three distinctly different jurisdictions.

Although each participating agency has very specific needs and will use the 2023 JAG funding to address those needs, the overall goal of this project is to provide each agency with the resources needed to maintin the staffing level and resources necessary to adequately respond to calls for service and to proactively work with citizens and other local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in order to provide a safe secure community where residents can live without fear of crime.
