Richmond County will use the JAG funds to update their expiring mobile data terminals. The MDTs have become essential in the everyday operations of the county sheriff's office. However, with the vastly changing technology, it is hard for the county to keep up with the times on a limited budget. Technological advances are some of the costliest the sheriff's office encounters and any help with that is a huge benefit to the citizens of Richmond County.
