FY23 JAG Grant - City of Wilmington/New Hanover County

The applicant is the City of Wilmington, North Carolina in partnership with the New Hanover County as part of a disparate jurisdiction application. The goal of this grant is to purchase a portable X-ray system for the Wilmington Police Department. This equipment will be used to enhance their ability to safely identify and dispose of explosive devices to protect both officers and civilians. An additional goal of this grant is to purchase three stationary Flock cameras to place in strategic positions within the most visited parks for use by New Hanover County to reduce crime in the community parks.
