GUILFORD COUNTY JAG GRANT

The Greensboro Police Department, as applicant, with the High Point Police Department and the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department, as sub-recipients, are applying for Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2023 funding.  These funds will be used to purchase equipment that the departments cannot afford otherwise and are not part of their normal budget purchases.   These expenditures are meant to enhance service levels, increase officer safety and efficacy.  The intended outcome is a decrease in crime and increase officer safety, resulting in an improvement in the quality of life of the citizens we serve.
