Officer Safety

The City of Atlantic City plans to utilized allocated FY23 JAG program funds to purchase external vest/plate carriers along with tactical ballistic plates. These items will be issued and utilized by ACPD Officers that will provide increased ballistic protection during events such as active shoorter incidents and barricaded subjects. The Township of Galloway will utilize allocated FY23 JAG program funds to purchase ballistic helmets that will provide increased protection for officers responding to barracaded suspects and active shooter incidents.
