2023 JAG Grant, Perth Amboy Applying Agency

Federal funding offered through the Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant program have made funding available to four municipalities within Middlesex County, NJ. The New Brunswick Police Department will utilize funds towards the purchase of Automatic License Plate Readers. Funds will also be used for purchase of police bicycles and accessories. The Perth Amboy Police Department will purchase new outboard engines for an existing marine vessel. The Edison Police Department will utilize funds towards the purchase of a new police patrol vehicle. The Township of Woodbridge will use funding to purchase body armor for police officers.
